I'm Dr. Jay Reubens with nearly four decades of building, buying and selling business experience along with a keen knowledge in financing and career change. My passionate journey began in Boston in 1995 with the sale of my thriving dental practice and pharmacy. I then invented and patented the first touch free dispenser before selling that business to a multibillion dollar company, Ecolab. I then invented the first alcohol free hand sanitizer and with the sale pending was recruited to lead my own M&A Division with a leading M&A company. It is with great satisfaction I have in working with entrepreneurs/business owners who have sacrificed so much in dedicating themselves to growing their businesses and want to maximize their return on investment. As a lead mentor with the largest mentoring organization, thevmt.org, I have assisted the owners in building and selling their businesses or buying new businesses. In essence I understand where you are as buyer or seller and will be right by your side, every step of the way to take your buying, selling and career change to fruition.
Dr. J authored a book on the real-world experiences of building, selling, and buying a business, as well as career changes. He has lectured nationally and takes pride in offering full transparency and timely support—from the first call to the buy or sell, and beyond.

Dr. J begins by asking the entrepreneurs what’s keeping them up at night, what they have accomplished and future goals. As a VMT mentor of many years Dr. J is committed to a strict code of confidentiality, listens deeply, ask questions, and make suggestions as appropriate.
